The parent firm of BA, IAG, announced it had reached an agreement involving Starlink to provide wifi coverage on more than 500 planes within their carriers, including Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, and Vueling.

Uninterrupted Connectivity from Boarding through Arrival

The airline explained that this implementation for this system formed part of a multi-billion pound “transformation” initiative and will offer uninterrupted internet service for travelers starting at the gate through landing, including when traveling across large bodies of water or far-off locations.

Travelers can hook up multiple devices and won't need to need a separate access code.

Current Connectivity Options

Restricted internet service is currently available to BA travelers across nearly all of the airline's jets using the .air service.

Enrollees of the airline's loyalty club are able to dispatch communications plus plain-text correspondence onboard without paying, while flyers who want to watch music, films, or content during their travel if not travelling in first class might pay from four pounds ninety-nine and twenty-one pounds ninety-nine for a internet bundle.
